Melvin Leong is a Director with the Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Environment & Building Technologies Practice. He has 14 years of industry experience tracking water and building markets in both research and consulting projects. Melvin has undertaken several research studies and consulting projects in key areas of building technologies and water. His project focus includes water and wastewater treatment in both municipal and industrial applications (desalination, MBR, smart water system, residential water filters etc.) and Buildings (smart and green buildings, smart cities, prefabricated buildings, facilities management, homes and building energy management, etc).  

Tony Khoo

Tony has a wealth of over 30 years experience in the property indsutry covering design, project management, development management, investment and feasibility study, property facility & township management and marketing & leasing. He is currently the CEO of EM Services Pte Ltd, which is the market leader in township management in Singapore managing over 700,000 Housing Development Board residential units. EM also provides project management, operations command centre, engineering services, real estate management and accommodation services. 

As the current President of Singapore International Facility Management Association (SIFMA), Tony is active in promoting and developing facilities management as a rewarding, fulfilling and recognised profession in the real estate world. He is also the co-Chair of the FM Implementation Committee to drive transformation in the industry under the Real Estate ITM (Industry Transformation Map). 

 

Eugene Seah

Eugene joined the Surbana Jurong Group on 1 January 2017 as Senior Director, Group CEO's Office, to spearhead and oversee the Group's special projects and strategic initiatives, in particular, the Group's Key Account Management Office, Digital Management Office, and Sustainability and Resiliency Office. He is also a Director on the Boards of Threesixty Cost Management and Threesixy Contract Advisory, for which his knowledge and expertise help to fortify the business thrust of the Group. 

He is also appointed as the Managing Director of Surbana Technologies, pushing Surbana Jurong's Smart Cities agenda. With his combined experience on Contract, Project, Value and Cost Management, Sustainability, Digital and Smart Solutions, Eugene brings to the table a wealth of well-rounded knowledge for development and asset management for projects and solutions to clients and key accounts alike. 

 

S C Cheong

SC Cheong joined SIAA in year 2013 and was elected as Treasurer in 2016; Vice President in 2018. SIAA is a trade association for Automation, IoT & Robotics (AIR). He championed the Robotics group since 2016 and co-chaired Singapore International Robo Expo (SIRE) conference and exhibition for 3 editions (2016- 2018).  SIRE attracted Country Pavilions from Korean, the Netherlands, United Kingdom to showcase their robotic technologies in Singapore. SC Cheong has crafted the Robotic Ecosystem for SIAA base on 4 key pillars: Knowledge, Engagement, Regional Reach and Leadership with Business focus as the key driver. He is also one of the key drivers for SIAA’s 3 major initiatives: Common Module, AIR-HUB and Training on Demand which is starting to gain traction amongst members and agencies.

 

David Mackerness

Dave leads the Customer Success Team at Kaer where he is responsible for delivering Kaer’s Brand Experience across their regional “air-conditioning as a service” portfolio. With a background in consumer marketing and over 10 years of experience in the building industry, Dave specialises in customer insights that drive Kaer’s product development roadmap and customer engagement platform.
 
As an advocate of the Circular Economy and the “product-as-a-service” business model, Dave regularly shares experiences with large MNC’s and start-ups who are looking to transition to this disruptive business model. 

 

Michael Ng

Over the span of 30 years, Michael had achieved a broader spectrum of real estate business from consultancy through sourcing of deals (investment), developing estates, marketing & facilities management portfolios. Prior to the FM healthcare industry, he held leadership roles at the National Library Board and obtained the inaugural BCA Platinum Green Mark Award. He helmed the Office of Estate & Development in NUS and was the Deputy Managing Director of UGL Premas Pte Ltd. 

Michael is currently the Director of Healthcare Operations at KK Women's and Children's Hospital. In the challenging hospital operations landscape, he drives digital transformation and data analytics to achieve Smart FM efficiency and derive bettter performance through outcome-based contracts. 

Michael is also the current Vice President of the Singapore International Facility Management Association (SIFMA). He is passionate in developing young Facility Professionals to be cognizant of FM competencies and be prepared for the challenging demands in the built environment. His pursuit interest is to promote the development of credentials in facilities management.
